Glenview Theater Guild is taking a new approach to selecting our summer 2017 musical.
GTG wants to hear from directors with a show suggestion that they are passionate to direct for our 2017 summer musical. We will be accepting musical show proposals until June 26, 2016 from directors for our Summer 2017 production.
Show criteria:
-Medium to Large cast (35-60)
-Appropriate for traditional GTG/ North Shore audiences
-Mixed age cast
-Appropriate for the space (Glenbrook South)
-Potential money maker
-Available for licensing
When submitting your show proposal include the following information:
-Directing Theater Resume
-2 References
-The show name and why it has special meaning to you
-A brief overview of your vision for the production
-How your show meets each of the criteria listed above
All submissions will be reviewed by the GTG show selection committee and show staff selection committee. The committees will select the directors/shows we feel could be a good fit for our theater. Directors selected for consideration will be asked to make a 10-15 minute presentation to the selection committees on Tuesday July 19, 2016.
